Synonyms:
FGF8B, FGF-8B, FGF8-B, KAL6, HBGF-8, HBGF8, AIGF, HBGF-8, MGC149376, fibroblast growth factor 8.
Source:
Escherichia Coli.
Purity:
Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Solubility:
Add deionized water to a working concentration approximately 0.5 mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely.
Formulation:
Filtered (0.4 µm) and lyophilized from 1mg/ml without preservatives.
Stability:
Lyophilized FGF-8b Human Recombinant although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 °C. Upon reconstitution Fibroblast Growth Factor-8b should be stored at 4 °C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 °C.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Activity:
ED50 range = 10-50 ng/mL, determined by the dose dependent proliferation of mouse BALB/3T3 cells. Optimal concentration for individual application should be determined by a dose response assay.
