As you may be aware, Virusys Corporation is now officially part of the LGC Clinical Diagnostics (CDx) business unit. Virusys’ monoclonal antibody technologies and virology expertise are highly complementary to LGC Clinical Diagnostics’ existing antigen and immunoassay product portfolios and will enable us to provide customers with antibody technologies to accelerate their infectious disease research programs, including influenza A and B, Herpes Simplex viruses, and Varicella Zoster, which can cause diseases like Chickenpox and Shingles.
