Description:
The E.coli derived recombinant 6x His fusion at C-terminus protein contains Chlamydia Trachomatis MOMP protein epitopes, 66-165 amino acids.
Applications:
Chlamydia W2 is suitable for use in ELISA. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Purification Method:
Chlamydia W2 was purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.
Purity:
Chlamydia W2 protein is >90% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.
Formulation:
20mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.2, 50% glycerol and 1.5M urea.
Specificity:
Immunoreactive with sera of Chlamydia Trachomatis infected individuals.
Storage:
Chlamydia W2 protein although stable at 4 °C for 1 week, should be stored below -18 °C.
