HIV-1 p24 Core is a 24kDa non-glycosylated polypeptide chain, containing the full length sequence of the HIV-1 p24.

Applications:
HIV-1 p24 Core antigen is suitable for ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for early detection of HIV seroconvertors with minimal specificity problems.
Purity:
Greater than 95.0% as determined by HPLC analysis and SDS-PAGE.
Formulation:
50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.2 & 8M urea.
Stability:
Store at 4 °C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20 °C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity:
Immunoreactive with all sera of HIV-1 infected individuals.
