Catalog #: CYT-105

Description:
Interleukin-28B Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a non-glycosylated monomer, having a total molecular weight of 24kDa.
The IL28B is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Synonyms:
Interleukin-28B, IL-28B, Cytokine Zcyto22, Interferon lambda-3, IFN-lambda-3, Interferon lambda-4, IFN-lambda-4, Interleukin-28C, IL-28C, IL28B, IFNL3, IFNL4, IL28C, ZCYTO22.

Source:
HEK.

Purity:
Greater than 95% as obsereved by SDS-PAGE.

Solubility:
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-28B in sterile water not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Formulation:
The IL28B was lyophilized from 1mg/ml in 1xPBS.

Stability:
Lyophilized IL-28B although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 °C. Upon reconstitution IL28B should be stored at 4 °C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 °C.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Activity:
The specific activity was determined by the dose dependent protection of the cytopathic effect on A549 cells (human lung adenocarcinoma epithelial cell line) that were challenged with encephalomyocarditis (EMC) virus and is typically 0.1-1ng/ml.

Physical Appearance:
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Usage:
Denovo Biotechnology's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
