Description:
Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-2 Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 74 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 8507 Dalton.
The MCP-2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Solubility:
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized CCL8in sterile 18MΩ–cm H2O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Formulation:
Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered concentrated (1.0mg/ml) solution in 20mM PB, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl.
Stability:
Lyophilized MCP-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 °C. Upon reconstitution CCL8should be stored at 4 °C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 °C.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Activity:
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood monocytes using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 10,000-100,000IU/mg.
