Four Balb/C females, are immunized via intraperitoneal injection with your antigen until an appropriate immunological response is obtained. Tail bleeds are evaluated by ELISA and the titer reported. Normally, the animal with the highest titer is selected for spleenocyte fusion in Phase 2. If an inappropriate response is obtained, you may stop the project at this stage.
